Climbing New Heights offers guided outdoor rock climbing trips to Seneca Rocks and other locations around West Virginia and the East Coast. Our lead guide Chris Price is an AMGA Apprentice Alpine Guide, AMGA Apprentice Rock Guide, AMGA Single Pitch Instructor, and he maintains a Wilderness First Responder Certification. He is a proud Veteran of the US Air Force and his true passion is to guide people on their climbing adventures.
Seneca Rocks is an amazing climbing destination. The south summit at 2,241’ elevation is said to be the only technical 5th class summit east of Devil’s Tower, Wyoming. Meaning you must climb multiple pitches of technical fifth class terrain to reach its summit. The area is known for stiff grading, and wonderful traditional climbing. There are numerous routes that span the entire grade spectrum from beginner to advanced. We can customize your Seneca experience to your level and experience.
Our climbers meetup group is a great way to link up with other climbers around the tri-state area. We regularly schedule outdoor climbing activities in a fun group setting that are an affordable way to get out there and try outdoor rock climbing with friends, follow along on our meetup site below!
Climbing New Heights guides offer climbing at other locations around the eastern panhandle.
